Welcome to the Boston Academy of Martial Arts, where our aim is to raise your child's focus and self-esteem, by providing them with a vehicle for increased confidence, self-discipline, and self-defense. Our goal is to help build a strong and safer community, one student at a time. We teach students as young as 3yrs, to Adults.

Our character development program encourages the formation of high personal standards, and an "I CAN" attitude. Whether you're a young child, teen, or an adult, you will find that our programs, and the training that we provide will not only develop and enhance your current fitness level, but also your level of awareness and self-defense while keeping you more alert and providing you with more options in threatening situations.

Our Little Dragons, (ages 3-6yrs) benefit from our "Kid Smart" curriculum, in the areas of Stranger Danger, Fire Safety, and other specialized topics. Our child friendly Kung Fu program is lots of fun and improves their gross motor skills, balance, coordination, dexterity and flexibility. We work on their listening skills, and their ability to follow directions. This program prepares them for the natural progression to the Junior Dragons class, (ages 7-12).

All of our students benefit from our life skills program. They learn to be assertive, rather than aggressive, and to handle conflict without violence.

Our Junior Dragons, (ages 7-12), focus on the A,B,C's of being successful. Their martial arts training is enhanced by their life skills training in Attitude, Behavior, and Character Development. We strongly believe in developing the responsible martial artist within, to complement their rock-solid external martial arts skills.

We provide a fun and challenging curriculum for this energetic group of boys and girls. Developing within each individual razor sharp focus, increased endurance and perseverance, and an arsenal of practical Anti-Bullying techniques for common sense survival. Our school motto: "Common Sense, Before Self-Defense".

With safety of our kids being a major concern for all parents, we also provide anti-child abduction training to teach the 10 most commonly used lures by child predators. We provide this free to our students, and also to the community through our "STEAL-PROOF MASTER" program.

Our Teens Kung Fu and Kickboxing program provides the perfect enhancement for athletic agility, self-confidence and self-control, so necessary for this active group. Our methods are focused on accomplishment by instilling habits of self-discipline and inner control in their daily routine, positive social interaction and good citizenship. This builds a healthy self-image necessary to deal with situations of conflict, negativity and peer pressure.

Our Adult program is known for being dynamic and multi-faceted. Inherent in our southern style, Tiger-Crane Kung Fu system is our method of self-defense. Tiger-Crane is known for it's fierce fists for defense and strengthening of the skeletal structure, (bones and sinews). Both men and women enjoy the core training, Muay Thai drills, strengthening exercises, and agility drills we teach. Our training will help you exceed your fitness goals, and still want more. Through the practice of our unique style, students increase their speed, reaction-ability, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.
